IB ACIO Tech Eligibility Criteria 2023-24

To apply online for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) (Technical / Grade II) under the Intelligence Bureau, an individual must meet certain eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit.

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must have achieved qualifying cut-off marks in GATE 2021 or 2022 or 2023 in Electronics & Communication (GATE code: EC) or Computer Science & Information Technology (GATE code: CS) along with:
  • I. B.E or B.Tech in the fields of: Electronics or Electronics & Tele-communication or Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics or Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering; from a Government recognized University/College/Institute. Or
  • II. Master’s Degree in Science with Electronics or Physics with Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Computer Science; or Master’s Degree in Computer Applications; from a Government recognized University / College / Institute.

Age Limit : 

One’s age must not be below 18 years and above 42 years as of January 01, 2023, and there will be upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per government rules.

IB ACIO Tech Application Fee 2023-24

The application fee for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (Technical / Grade II) is Rs. 200 for General, OBC and EWS candidates and Rs. 100 for SC, ST and PWD aspirants, applicants will be able to pay the required amount using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI.
